SIMONA Electrically Conductive (EL) Plastics

Plastics are contributing to an ever-increasing range of applications in our modern-day life. They are deployed in the chemical industry and the manufacture of tanks, apparatus and pipelines. There they are used not only because of their good cost/benefit ratio but also because of their high chemical resistance and excellent processing capabilities. In those sectors the plastics primarily used are polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).

Simona PVDF Polyvinylidene fluoride

Simona PVDF

Simona Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) belongs to the group of highly crystalline high-performance thermoplastics. PVDF retains its high level of stiffness even within the upper temperature range. The material is highly resistant to the majority of organic and inorganic media, as well as being physiologically safe and offering the benefits of low flammability.

Simona PE100

Alongside its outstanding processability, polyethylene (PE) displays good chemical resistance and offers strength and rigidity within a temperature range of between – 40 °C and + 80 °C. Due to the inclusion of soot particles, PE is resistant to UV light and therefore also suitable for long-term outdoor applications.
